Many Office 365 user accounts come with a personal cloud storage drive, called OneDrive.
You can set OneDrive up as a back-up for desktop & MyDocument folders, which is a great place to start.
Holding files in OneDrive gives your employees great sharing functionality and co-authoring tools which are just not available in a traditional file share.
