Course Overview

 

This workshop is designed for those just starting out with networking, those who just want to build their confidence in a safe environment or those wanting to update their skills.

 

It discusses why we still need to network, in such a social media world, where we should network as well as giving great tips and practical advice on introducing yourself, breaking into groups and moving on.

 

During the longer workshops there will also be time dedicated to managing and growing the relationship after an initial meeting, why it is so important and the systems and tools we have to help make it easier.  We are all busy people so there is no point networking for networkings sake.

 

 

Course Prerequisites

 

There are no prerequisites for delegates to attend this workshop.  We would just ask that those attending are either already attending networking activities and wish to increase their confidence, or they are moving into a role where networking forms part of their duties.

 

 

Overall Aim

 

For delegates to have a greater understanding of the importance of networking in business and increased confidence in taking part in networking events.
