Meet Our Team
We are a small and friendly team at Green Shoots Learning and we love nothing better than meeting and getting to know new people. We value every member of the team as, without them, we wouldn't be able to provide the great service our clients have come to expect.
Lorna Rose - Managing Director & Trainer
I am the Managing Director and owner of Green Shoots Learning. I've worked in the training arena for over 18 years and am City & Guilds qualified and a member of the CIPD. I have worked in-house for a number of professional service businesses, before making the decision to work for herself and I now concentrate on designing, writing and delivering effective training solutions for clients around the UK, whilst building the Green Shoots Learning brand.
When I'm not working (which isn't a lot of the time) I love being out in the fresh air, walking my dogs Ned and Ellie, cooking and drinking good coffee and the odd glass of wine. So if you fancy meeting up to talk "training" I am always up for a coffee.
Louise Cain - Training Support
I originally qualified as a legal secretary and worked for 14 years within the commercial property and residential conveyancing teams at a number of well established Suffolk law firms. As well as working within the legal capacity I also became involved in Case Management systems and programming and delivering training on these products. I left the profession in 2014 to have my second child.
I returned to work temporarily in 2018 to assist Lorna with a computer programming project implementing a conveyancing case management system for a national law firm client and joined Green Shoots Learning in October 2019 offering training support to the Team.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, reading, running and baking with my children
Jemma Foster - L&D Consultant
I have been an L&D professional for almost 6 years and I first got into the role whilst working at Legal & General Home Insurance. It started off because I wasn’t afraid to stand up and talk in front of people and then having completed my CIPD I knew that I had a passion for helping people and for making learning fun. Making a difference to people is what motivates me and seeing training I have designed and completed making a difference in peoples work and home lives is one of the reasons I love being in Learning & Development.
Outside of work my family is incredibly important to me. My husband and young son certainly keep me busy (they’re both very messy) I love to travel especially if the destination is hot, sunny and I have good crime book to read. I also take part in the local panto every January – oh yes I do! – sorry that was a terrible joke!!
