Course Overview


This workshops is designed for people who manage business projects as part of their roles, but who are not solely project managers. For example those working in facilities management, practice management or office management who are tasked with rolling out new IT products, office moves or branching into new markets.

After attending this course, delegates will have an understanding of the project management process; be able to build a project plan and understand how to communicate it to people involved with the project throughout its life cycle; keep records, make changes and updates; present timely, accurate and straightforward reports; stay on track towards the project’s goals; close the project and learn from it.

Fiona Powell has worked with project managers on a wide range of projects, large and small, for over 20 years.


She can help new project managers to build a plan with key dates and deadlines, work to a budget, manage people's time and report progress.


As well as providing training in project management she also provides Microsoft Project one-day and two-day workshops, clinics, refresher and practical courses for users at all levels.


She is an extremely personable facilitator who we have received fantastic feedback from clients.
