Is Mental Health Important To Your Business?

July 9, 2019

Mental health at work is a subject that is being spoken about much more than ever before.  With mental health awareness week taking place earlier in May and with many more initiatives taking place locally, such as SEOmers Man Up event in Ipswich which encouraged men to come forward to discuss mental health, the stigma around mental health is being reduced.

With mental health forming part of the Health & Safety Executive and with lots of information available on their website, Green Shoots Learning wants to find out what businesses are doing to improve the situation within your workplace.

Our new trainer Jemma is extremely interested in this topic and would like to become an accredited Mental Health in the Workplace provider, but in order for us to invest in and offer mental health training, we first need to know if local businesses will be procuring training on this topic for their staff.

Can you help us by completing this short survey so we can make an informed decision? It will only take a couple of minutes and everyone who completes it will be entered into a prize draw to win dinner for 2 at a restaurant of their choice* (a little something to help your well-being from us).

If we go ahead with this new offering, an additional benefit of working with us to deliver your Mental Health in the Workplace training, is that not only will your employees receive accredited training and certification, but they will also have access to the fantastic Video Arts training videos on mental health via our e-learning platform ‘gsl-anytime’ to support them after the workshop.

So, you never know, you may see accredited Mental Health at Work training making an appearance on our course programme very soon, but for now keep talking.

Thanks so much for your help!
